Today, on November 19, in the small hall of the executive body of the regional government, Chairman of the Khatlon region Davlatali Said held a meeting with the heads of a number of manufacturing enterprises of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The head of the region welcomed the visitors of the Khatlon region and noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran is one of the first partners of Tajikistan in the history of the country's independence, and Iranian companies actively cooperate in important projects of Tajikistan and the region. Over the more than 30-year period of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, about 200 important documents on cooperation have been signed, which define the relations of the two friendly and friendly countries and play a decisive role in creating a legal framework for further expansion of bilateral relations. Chairman of the region Davlatali Said spoke about the possibilities of the Khatlon region, noting that agriculture is one of the priority and leading areas, and fresh goods and products are harvested annually, including cotton, fruits, melons, and cereals.
