Familiarization of the Chairman of the Region with the Project of a New Cardiology Hospital and Endocrinology Center of Khatlon Region in the City of Bokhtar
On June 9, the Chairman of Khatlon Region, Davlatali Said, reviewed the project for the construction of a new Cardiology Hospital and Endocrinology Center of Khatlon Region in the city of Bokhtar.
During the presentation of the construction project, it was reported to Chairman Davlatali Said that this initiative is being implemented as part of the regional development and improvement efforts in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. The project aims to enhance the quality of medical services for the population. The hospital is being built by the initiative of the Executive Body of State Authority of Khatlon Region with a budget of 19 million somoni, near the Regional Ophthalmology Center, and is planned to be commissioned during the Independence Day celebrations.
It was noted during the presentation that the construction of such a hospital in the regional administrative center — the city of Bokhtar — is essential, as the local population has a high demand for such a medical facility.
The new hospital building will have four floors and is being constructed on the site of the existing facility, which no longer meets current standards.
Upon completion, the building will be equipped with modern medical equipment. According to the information provided, a cardiology center with 40 inpatient beds will be located on the second floor of the facility.
Chairman Davlatali Said instructed the responsible officials and the city administration to consistently monitor the quality of construction work and ensure proper working conditions for all construction staff.
He also addressed the importance of landscaping the hospital grounds and emphasized that work on planting flowers, shrubs, and shade trees should be intensified. It was also highlighted that medical personnel should make full use of available opportunities and actively participate in the beautification and greening of the surrounding area.
