Today, April 4, during a working visit to Kushoniyon district, the Chairman of Khatlon Region, Davlatali Said, familiarized himself with the activities of the subsidiary seed farm named after Fayzali Saidov and the cotton sowing process.
At the subsidiary seed farm named after Fayzali Saidov, part of the open joint-stock company "Kurgan-Tyube" in the city of Bokhtar, farmers are striving to complete the necessary volume of cotton sowing within the established deadlines, utilizing available conditions and resources. For these purposes, seeders and the required amount of agricultural machinery have been provided.
During his visit to this subsidiary farm, the head of Khatlon Region, Davlatali Said, highly appreciated the work of the farmers in ensuring food security.
It was reported that the total cultivated land area in the Fayzali Saidov seed farm is planned for 2,917 hectares of cotton, while the remaining land will be used for growing various vegetables and cereals. This year, Turkish and Chinese seeds were planted at this farm, and the farmers intend to achieve the desired yield through agricultural techniques.
It is worth noting that this farm is considered one of the largest and leading in the Kushoniyon district, with the farmers making a significant contribution to the country's food security by annually harvesting grain and vegetable crops.
During the visit, the head of the region highly praised the farm’s activities and gave farmers useful instructions and recommendations on selecting high-quality seeds correctly, effective land use, and performing agricultural work at a proper level.
