On September 5, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, dear Emomali Rahmon, commissioned a new building of the Central District Hospital in the Khovaling village jamoat of the Khovaling district by lifting the veil from the memorial plaque and familiarized himself with the working conditions, activities and services in it. The construction of the new hospital building was carried out as part of the implementation of the "Project to improve medical care for mothers and children" in the amount of 3 million 410 thousand dollars. Construction work on this medical facility began in September 2022 and was completed in August 2024. During the construction, engineers and builders of the Stroy Center company used high-quality domestic construction materials and complied with standard requirements and norms. The new medical facility consists of 3 buildings - a three–storey main building, a basement, two two-storey buildings, a boiler room, a warehouse for storing combustible materials, a water tower, a 250 kW/h power transformer, a 200 kW/h diesel generator and auxiliary facilities. The Central Hospital has an adult reception department and a children's reception department with 80 beds, on this basis, departments of internal medicine, surgery, emergency care, maternity ward, auxiliary and administrative departments have been prepared to provide services. Along with the construction of a new building of the Central Hospital, the institution is equipped with modern medical devices and equipment, such as digital X-ray, oxygenators, ultrasound diagnostics device, electric heart monitor, modern equipment for kidney diagnosis and treatment, bioanalyzer, artificial respiration apparatus, autoclave and sanitary equipment. During the conversation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, dear Emomali Rahmon, gave useful recommendations to hospital staff on improving their qualifications, improving the quality of medical care for the population, good communication and high responsibility in work and activities. The commissioning of the Central Hospital, equipped with modern medical devices and equipment, will contribute to improving the infrastructure of the network of healthcare institutions in the district, serve patients for the timely detection, diagnosis and treatment of various diseases. The leader of the nation, dear Emomali Rahmon, presented two ambulances to the hospital staff in order to form the infrastructure of the healthcare sector, timely and high-quality medical care. The hospital yard is landscaped, more than 105 decorative, shade-forming trees, shrubs, and flowers are planted on it. With the commissioning of the new building of the Central Hospital in Khovaling district, 125 medical workers have been provided with jobs. By implementing standards of medical care for diagnosis and treatment, healthcare professionals and employees can ensure the sustainability and access of the population to treatment. It should be noted that there are 48 medical institutions in Khovaling district, in which 374 doctors and nurses provide medical services to 62,295 residents of Khovaling district. It should be recalled that along with other goals defined by the "Strategy for Public Health Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030", the development of the healthcare sector, the formation of the infrastructure of the sphere and, taking into account population growth, the construction of modern medical institutions will be ensured. Thus, in just 6 months of 2024, 34 healthcare institutions were built and put into operation in the republic, 110 healthcare institutions were repaired and reconstructed.
