WORKING MEETING UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF THE CHAIRMAN OF KHATLON REGION
Today, on March 28, a working meeting was held in the hall of the Palace of Culture in the city of Bokhtar under the chairmanship of the Chairman of Khatlon Region, Davlatali Said.
The meeting was attended by the deputies of the regional chairman, the head of the apparatus, certain heads of regional government organizations and institutions, as well as the chairmen of cities and districts.
During the meeting, the regional chairman addressed officials of regional organizations and institutions, as well as the chairmen of cities and districts, raising urgent issues, and gave assignments and instructions for their resolution.
Davlatali Said analyzed and discussed the results of the economic and social development for the first quarter of 2025, the agricultural sector including the monitoring of potato planting and ensuring prospects for planting, selection of high-quality seeds for all types of agricultural products, locust control, the industrial sector, electricity losses, electricity fee collection, ensuring a comprehensive tax plan, expanding youth preparation for the spring draft and their mobilization into the Armed Forces, the plan of events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of State Independence, construction and quality of festive facilities. He also gave concrete instructions to the heads of cities, districts, and relevant regional structures to eliminate shortcomings by making use of available opportunities and resources.
It was emphasized that additional measures should be taken for the effective use of arable land, improving soil fertility, providing farms with high-quality seeds of agricultural crops, particularly cotton and cereals, and increasing the volume of agricultural production.
The first deputy, deputies, the head of the regional apparatus, the chairmen of cities and districts, and heads of organizations and institutions in the region were instructed to pay proper attention to statistical indicators for the reporting period, mobilize all opportunities and resources, summarize the economic and social development of the region for the first quarter with positive indicators, and submit reports in a timely manner.
Instructions were also given for the timely and high-quality organization of spring fieldwork, especially for cotton and potatoes, implementation of the directives from the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Supreme Assembly, expansion of greening efforts, and construction of facilities dedicated to the 35th anniversary of State Independence.
