On 4 September 2025, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan between the Minister of Finance, Kakhhordzoda Fayziddin Sattor, and the newly appointed Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the Republic of Tajikistan, Sudipto Mukerji.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Finance congratulated Mr. Sudipto Mukerji on his appointment as Resident Representative of UNDP in Tajikistan and wished him success in fulfilling his important mission to strengthen and expand cooperation between Tajikistan and UNDP.
During the meeting, a constructive exchange of views took place on the implementation of public investment projects in the real sector of the economy, including energy and industry, as well as the digitalization of the financial sector and the development of cashless payment systems.
At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their interest in further expanding cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
