Participation of the Minister of Finance in the OPEC Fund Development Forum 2026
On 23 June 2026, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Faiziddin Sattor Kahhorzoda and Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan Juma Daler Shofaqir participated in the OPEC Fund Development Forum entitled “Building Resilience in Vulnerable Communities,” held at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Republic of Austria.
The Forum served as a platform bringing together leaders and international experts from various countries to discuss modern approaches to sustainable development and provided participants with an opportunity to exchange experiences and views and establish partnerships.
The OPEC Fund Development Forum entitled “Building Resilience in Vulnerable Communities” opened with remarks by Dr. Abdul Hamid Al Khalifa, President of the OPEC Fund for International Development, followed by a presentation on the Fund’s activities and prospects for cooperation in the area of sustainable development.
