On 23 June 2026, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan between First Deputy Minister of Finance Yusuf Khairullo Majidi, Holger Wiffel, Head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Resident Office in Tajikistan, and Veronika Kravchenko, Deputy Director of the EBRD Energy Department.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, as well as the progress of joint investment projects. Particular attention was paid to the modernization of the country’s energy sector, the development of green energy, and the introduction of energy-efficient technologies.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
