On 9 July 2026, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan between Minister of Finance Faiziddin Sattorovich Kahhorzoda and Kadir Furkan Odabaşı, the newly appointed Head of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Tajikistan.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Finance congratulated the newly appointed Head of the Agency on the commencement of his activities in the Republic of Tajikistan and wished him success in implementing joint projects and further developing bilateral relations.
The meeting also addressed issues related to strengthening institutional cooperation, digitalization of the financial sector, including the development of a “Cooperation Roadmap,” attracting technical assistance, and organizing professional development programs for specialists using the best practices of the Republic of Türkiye. The parties reaffirmed their readiness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
