Discussion on cooperation with the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO)
On March 26, 2025, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan between the Minister of Finance, Kakhhorzoda Fayziddin Sattor, and the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Asad Majid Khan, who visited Dushanbe on a working trip.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the development of regional economic cooperation and strengthening the relationship between Tajikistan and ECO, particularly in expanding financial and banking cooperation between the member states of the organization.
ECO Secretary General Asad Majid Khan emphasized the readiness to strengthen the multilateral cooperation of the organization with Tajikistan, an active member of ECO. He also expressed interest in expanding cooperation in areas such as trade and investment, transportation, and renewable energy.
