DUSHANBE, 04.07.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On 4 July, the President of the People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Xi Jinping, arrived in the Republic of Tajikistan on a state visit.
The Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon warmly and sincerely welcomed the high-ranking guest, the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, as a sign of high respect.
In honor of the distinguished guest, Dushanbe International Airport was festively decorated with the national flags of the two countries, portraits of the heads of Tajikistan and China, and slogans praising the friendship of the peoples of the two nations.
A red carpet was laid out for the reception, and honor guard officers were lined up on both sides.
In addition, a large number of young people in national dress, holding flags and accompanied by the sounds of traditional instruments karnay and surnay, warmly welcomed the leader of the friendly neighboring country.
It should be noted that the state visit of the President of the People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Xi Jinping, to Tajikistan will last from 4 to 6 July, during which high-level meetings and negotiations between Tajikistan and China are planned, along with the signing of a number of new cooperation documents and other important events.
