Dushanbe, 16.07.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On 16 July, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the City of Dushanbe, His Excellency Rustami Emomali, inaugurated the LLC “Zarafshon Jewelry” in the Sino district of the capital.
The new industrial facility, consisting of jewelry workshops and a gold sales center, is capable of processing up to one ton of gold per year. In the future, various types of jewelry products will be manufactured and offered to customers here using modern technologies.
The President of the country, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, described the establishment of a new industrial enterprise in Dushanbe for the extraction and processing of precious metals into finished products as an important step.
In line with the Government’s objectives, 65 new jobs have been created at the LLC “Zarafshon Jewelry” by the Executive Body of State Power of the City of Dushanbe as part of the project.
On 23 December 2022, in his Address to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation instructed that necessary measures be taken to establish four enterprises for the processing of precious metals into finished products.
In order to ensure the timely implementation of this directive, the LLC “Zarafshon Jewelry” was constructed and commissioned with Chinese investment.
The enterprise includes facilities for casting, cutting, chain weaving, molding, stamping, packaging, and other workshops.
The new technological lines enable the processing of local raw materials into finished products and the production of jewelry in accordance with international market requirements.
Various types of products manufactured by the LLC “Zarafshon Jewelry” were presented in the enterprise’s showroom.
The industrial facility consists of two two- and three-story buildings, and its 0.3-hectare area is landscaped and illuminated.
Overall, it is planned to establish four industrial enterprises in this area with 300 new jobs.
On the same day, the second phase of the LLC “TBEA Dushanbe Mining Industry” was also presented. The new technological line is capable of processing 4,000 tons of ore per day, producing gold powder.
The total cost of constructing the second phase of the LLC “TBEA Dushanbe Mining Industry” amounted to 650 million somoni, and 600 new jobs are expected to be created.
