On 26 September 2025, on the sidelines of the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation in Moscow, a meeting was held between the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, Kakhkhorzoda Fayziddin Sattor, and the Executive Director of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development, Andrey Shirokov.
The sides emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation and noted the significant role of the Fund in supporting financial stability and sustainable economic development in Tajikistan.
During the meeting, the Fund’s contribution to the implementation of infrastructure, energy, and social projects in Tajikistan was highly appreciated. The sides also expressed readiness to further strengthen cooperation and make more active use of the Fund’s financial resources for the implementation of priority national projects.
In addition, practical ways of expanding cooperation were discussed, with particular attention given to the development of priority projects in the areas of budget support, energy, transport, digitalization, water resources, and agriculture, as well as private sector development.
The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere. The sides noted that cooperation between Tajikistan and the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development will continue to expand, contributing to the financing of priority projects aimed at socio-economic development and improving the well-being of the population.
