On 15 September 2025, a meeting was held between the First Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, Majidi Yusuf Khairullo, and the Country Director of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in the Republic of Tajikistan, Roberto Longo.
During the meeting, the sides discussed ongoing mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of IFAD projects, including the “Market Access and Livestock Adaptation” project aimed at rural development, improving agricultural efficiency, and enhancing the living standards of rural populations.
In addition, the sides emphasized the need to expand and continue cooperation, particularly in areas such as improving farmers’ access to modern technologies, targeted financing for rural entrepreneurship development, and expanding water resources for climate change adaptation.
