A signing ceremony was held at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan for the Amendment No. 1 to the Loan Agreement dated March 2, 2021, between the Republic of Tajikistan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, within the framework of the “Kulob Water Supply and Wastewater Project,” in the total amount of 1.8 million US dollars.
The agreement was signed by the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, Faiziddin Sattorovich Qahhorzoda, and the Permanent Representative of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the Republic of Tajikistan, Holger Wiefel.
Under this project, the restoration of the water supply and wastewater systems, improvement of service quality, and enhancement of the sanitary and environmental conditions in the city of Kulob are envisaged.
