On 15 May 2025, as part of a visit to the city of Kuwait, State of Kuwait, a meeting was held between the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Usmonzoda Usmonali Yunusali, and the Minister of Finance of the country, Kakhkhorzoda Fayziddin Sattor, with the Minister of Commerce and Industry of the State of Kuwait, Khalifa Abdullah Zahi Al-Ajil Al-Askar.
During the meeting, the prospects for strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, and investment were discussed.
In this regard, the Tajik side presented specific proposals aimed at attracting direct Kuwaiti investment into sectors such as industry, including mining, textiles, construction materials, and agricultural processing.
