The regular implementation of measures to improve the state of the agricultural sector, find solutions to its problems, and ensure its sustainable development in order to achieve one of our national strategic goals – ensuring food security and, most importantly, Tajikistan's self-sufficiency in food supply – is a top priority.
With the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Institution " Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development", within the framework of the "Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project", has planned the establishment of agro-logistics centers across the Republic of Tajikistan. This aims to increase agricultural output, improve processing, prevent crop losses, and enhance storage and packaging for export abroad. To date, the construction of the agro-logistics center buildings in the Sughd and Khatlon regions is nearing completion.
On September 1, 2026, specialists in social and environmental issues of the State Institution " Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development" held a working meeting with a representative of the design company "Bars Consulting" LLC and the contractor "TGEM" JSC regarding the commencement of works and mobilization for the construction of the agro-logistics center in Dushanbe.
