On 7 October 2026, a meeting of the Technical Working Group was held at the Ministry of Agriculture, with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development,” the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and specialists in the relevant fields. The meeting focused on reviewing the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan ‘On Seed Production’.”
During the meeting, issues related to improving the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan ‘On Seed Production’” were analyzed and discussed, along with seed standards, standards for agricultural crops, and the justification of related matters based on the instructions and directives of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It should be noted that, once the draft Law has been prepared in a revised version, it will be submitted to the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for subsequent circulation to the relevant ministries and agencies.
