Dear compatriots,
For the people of Tajikistan, National Unity, alongside Independence, is one of our most precious and sacred achievements. This invaluable blessing was attained through the initiative, unwavering efforts, and wise leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.
Today, National Unity is recognized as a fundamental value of our statehood and the cornerstone of lasting peace and stability in society.
National Unity stands among the greatest historical achievements of the Tajik people during the period of independence. As a powerful force of national cohesion, it enabled our nation to embrace universally recognized values, establish the foundations of a democratic civil society, improve the living standards and quality of life of our people, promote the prosperity of our Homeland, and create favorable conditions for the sustainable development of our independent state.
National Unity, State Independence, and national identity are invaluable principles that have emerged from our national aspirations. They require every citizen to demonstrate determination, foresight, patriotism, responsibility, and deep respect for our national values and traditions. National Unity represents the highest stage of the social, political, cultural, and spiritual development of any nation. It is built upon shared cultural values, common ideals, and a unified vision of national statehood.
Today, the General Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and National Accord serves as a source of inspiration and national pride for all of us who are committed to strengthening our State Independence and dedicating ourselves to the construction, development, and prosperity of our beloved Tajikistan.
This historic and sacred document has illuminated the path of development for the independent Tajik state and its people for generations to come. It reminds every citizen of this beautiful homeland of the responsibility to cherish and safeguard this invaluable achievement as dearly as the apple of one's eye.
Every patriotic Tajik should take pride in belonging to a nation that has historically and inherently been peace-loving, culturally rich, civilization-building, creative, and industrious.
History and the international community have once again recognized that the Tajik people are an ancient nation distinguished by dignity, wisdom, justice, creativity, and hard work, deserving of enduring respect and recognition.
The honorable and proud people of Tajikistan fully understand that national unity, peace, stability, and public harmony are our most sacred and cherished values. They constitute the foundation of a free and independent state and guarantee a dignified and prosperous life for present and future generations.
May the skies over our beloved Tajikistan always remain peaceful and clear under the wise leadership of the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and may peace, unity, stability, mutual understanding, prosperity, and well-being forever flourish throughout our ancient homeland.
