As previously reported, within the framework of the “Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project,” the institution supplied rare ornamental tree seedlings and rootstocks to 13 nursery farms of the State Unitary Enterprise “Tojikniholparvar” under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan in 2025 in order to support the development of the nursery sector. Currently, monitoring of their growth condition is being carried out.
During field visits, the institution’s specialists, together with the heads of the farms, particularly inspected the growth condition of seedlings at the “Iskich” nursery farm in the city of Hisor, the “M. Tursunzoda” farm in Shahrinav District, as well as nurseries in Tojikobod District, the city of Tursunzoda, the “J. Kamarov” farm in Lakhsh District, and other nursery farms located in cities and districts subordinate to the republic.
At present, the condition of the young shoots and rootstocks is satisfactory, while agrotechnical measures such as soil loosening around the seedlings, weed removal, fertilization, protective measures, and other field activities are continuing successfully.
During the monitoring process, specialists observed that the cultivation and maintenance of the seedlings have been properly organized, and their growth condition remains favorable.
