The 21st century is an era of rapid technological advancement, digitalization, and the widespread use of artificial intelligence. The Republic of Tajikistan, as an active member of the global community, is steadily progressing toward a digital economy and an information society.
On April 22, in Dushanbe, a working meeting was held with the participation of the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and a representative of the State Institution “
Entrepreneurship Development in Agriculture,” bringing together sector stakeholders to discuss the digitalization of agriculture. The meeting aimed to support the implementation of an agricultural management information system.
The event was organized within the framework of the state policy for agricultural development and enhancing sector efficiency. Key issues discussed included digital transformation, adoption of modern technologies, and ensuring sustainable agricultural production.
With the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and within the framework of the “Enhancing Agricultural Resilience” project, the State Institution “Entrepreneurship Development in Agriculture” provided 185 units of modern office equipment—including laptops, computers, printers, and other essential tools—to agricultural departments in cities and districts under republican subordination. This initiative will contribute to the development of an electronic management system in the sector and improve the quality of services delivered.
