Since independence, thanks to the initiative and continued efforts of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, particularly the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation and President of the country, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, various sectors of the economy, society and its spirituality, the domestic and foreign policy have gradually developed and achieved remarkable and significant success.
Currently, the State Institution "Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development" continuously implements the necessary measures within the "Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project" framework. This year, two modern year-round greenhouses (in Khatlon Region and Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast) are being built using a new, contemporary design to develop agriculture.
Construction work is currently underway at a year-round greenhouse in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast Shugnan district. After leveling the site, fencing the perimeter and foundation strengthening, the workers are continuing other construction work.
The goal of this initiative is to select and adapt agricultural crops to the local climate, implement modern methods, use land rationally, provide as many people as possible with home-grown products year-round and implement measures for comprehensive food security.
The vegetable growing area in the modern greenhouse is 0.32 hectares, and the harvest will be supplied to the market all year round.
Construction work is being implemented according to the international standards, and specialists are striving to build and commission the planned facility on time and with high quality.
