A meeting was held today at the hall of the Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Istaravshan between deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ahrorzoda Shuhrat and Nabizoda Tohir, and local voters.
Ahrorzoda Shuhrat provided information on the activities of the Majlisi Namoyandagon, the legislative process, crucial socio-economic issues, and the role of deputies in addressing matters of interest to constituents. Nabizoda Tohir spoke about the main directions of the state socio-economic policy, the development of various sectors, and measures aimed at raising the population's living standards.
It was noted that during the reporting period, approximately 700 applications and complaints regarding social issues were submitted by residents of the country to the Majlisi Namoyandagon. Of these, 384 applications were submitted in written form and more than 312 orally.
The Majlisi Namoyandagon continues its international activities in alignment with the foreign policy of the Republic of Tajikistan under the wise leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon. In this direction, effective measures are being taken to strengthen interparliamentary ties, expand regional and international cooperation, and protect national interests on the global stage.
It was emphasized that direct communication between deputies and voters is of critical importance for the timely identification and resolution of pressing issues. At the conclusion of the meeting, voters shared their opinions, questions, and proposals with the deputies, receiving comprehensive answers in return.
