On August 26, 2026, the Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Faizali Idizoda, met with servicemen and officers of military unit 02011 "B" of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as with activists from the Zarshuyon rural jamoat in the Sangvor district.
Faizali Idizoda noted that the passage of time has brought us closer to the grand celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, which stands as the greatest achievement of the Tajik people. At this historical milestone, our beloved Tajikistan has attained significant success and remarkable achievements both nationally and on the international arena.
In the parliamentary life of our country, as always, the annual Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, titled "On the Main Directions of the Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Republic," became a paramount event. The latest Address by the Leader of the Nation, the Esteemed Emomali Rahmon, was delivered on December 16, 2025, at a joint session of the Majlisi Milli and the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In the Address, the Head of State gave responsible officials specific instructions and guidelines regarding the effective implementation of domestic and foreign policy and the assurance of development across various sectors, including industry, energy, agriculture, education, healthcare, the tax and customs spheres, and law enforcement.
Amidst the rapidly changing and unpredictable modern world, having Armed Forces possessing high levels of knowledge and professional skills, being physically prepared, and equipped with modern technology and machinery is an essential and vital condition for every state and people.
Thanks to the efforts and dedication of worthy sons of the Fatherland, the Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies, and other military structures have made a weighty contribution to restoring the constitutional order, establishing the foundations for peace and stability, public calm, and national unity. Over these years, the personnel of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan, under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Esteemed Emomali Rahmon, have repeatedly proven their loyalty to the people, the Motherland, and the state. Particularly during the extremely complex and fateful period of the early years of independence – in the years of the imposed civil war, when the threat of the nation's disintegration and the disappearance of the Tajik state loomed – the servicemen conscientiously fulfilled their patriotic duty.
Ensuring societal security, political stability, peace and unity, and the supremacy of the law serves as a guarantee for sustainable economic and social development and for improving the living standards and quality of life of the country's population. It is precisely peace and stability, security and calm, alongside the supremacy of the law that have enabled the rapid economic, social, cultural, and political development of the country and raised the well-being of the people. Indeed, without unity and mutual understanding, sustainable peace and stability, and the supremacy of the law in society, we cannot achieve our lofty goals or realize a single planned objective.
