A meeting of deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan with constituents was held at the Palace of Culture in Jaloliddini Balkhi District.
The meeting was attended and addressed by Latifzoda Rustam Barot, Chairman of the Committee of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on Agrarian Issues, Water and Land Resources and Chairman of the Agrarian Party of Tajikistan; Ghoibnazarzoda Said Muhammadnazar, Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan representing the Jaloliddini Balkhi No. 30 single-mandate electoral district; and Kholboyzoda Nematullo Kholboy, Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and member of the Committee of the Majlisi Namoyandagon on Agrarian Issues, Water and Land Resources.
The meeting addressed and discussed important issues related to the country’s socio-economic development, the advancement of the agricultural sector, the rational and efficient use of land and water resources, ensuring food security, expanding development and community improvement initiatives, creating new jobs, and improving the living standards and quality of life of the population.
In their remarks, the deputies spoke about the remarkable path of independent Tajikistan, emphasizing that state independence is an invaluable achievement for the Tajik people, a source of national statehood, and a solid foundation for the development of all spheres of society. It was noted that over the years of independence, under the wise and forward-looking leadership of the Leader of the Nation and President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, Tajikistan has achieved significant political, economic, social, and cultural progress.
The speakers also addressed preparations for the dignified celebration of the country’s major national holiday – the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. The public was called upon to actively contribute to development and community improvement initiatives, maintain cleanliness and promote the greening of local areas, uphold national values, and strengthen the spirit of patriotism and national consciousness.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants addressed their questions and proposals to the deputies and received comprehensive answers.
It was emphasized that such meetings serve as an important means of strengthening direct communication between elected representatives and their constituents. They also play an important role in identifying the real challenges facing society, hearing the proposals and concerns of residents, and contributing to the resolution of social issues.
