Today, Deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mahmudzoda Ahmad and Ikromi Fazliddin, held a meeting with residents of the Sarchashma rural jamoat of Tajikabad District.
During the meeting, the Deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon discussed with constituents issues related to strengthening the foundations of state independence, consolidating national unity, preparations for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of state independence, implementation of national legislation, preventing the involvement of young people in extremist and terrorist parties and movements, supporting development initiatives, preventing excessive practices and superstition, the complex and unpredictable situation in the international community, the education and upbringing of the younger generation and youth, as well as enhancing legal awareness and national self-consciousness.
It was noted that independence and state sovereignty, achieved after centuries of severe challenges, selfless effort, and the steadfast will of the freedom-loving Tajik people, constitute an invaluable and supreme national achievement. They have enabled the Tajik people to determine their own destiny and have provided the country with the opportunity to take its place in the international community as a democratic state.
It was emphasized that the attainment of state independence created the conditions for the dignified celebration of its 35th anniversary – an important national milestone and one of the greatest achievements of the Tajik nation. State independence has contributed to the country’s stable development, the improvement of the well-being of society, and the achievement of significant results in the political, socio-economic, cultural, and legal spheres.
