Today, the Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Faizali Idizoda, held a meeting with residents of Nurobod District to discuss the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, to the Majlisi Oli of the country “On the Main Directions of Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Republic.”
Faizali Idizoda noted that the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Majlisi Oli “On the Main Directions of Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Republic” serves as an important strategic document defining the main directions of the country’s sustainable development and creating a reliable foundation for strengthening independence, national unity, and the socio-economic progress of Tajikistan. In the Address of the esteemed Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, key issues of state-building were thoroughly analyzed, including the development of the national economy, accelerated industrialization, ensuring energy security, digitalization of the economy, strengthening the education and healthcare sectors, supporting youth, and improving the living standards of the population.
In 2025, the Medium-Term Development Program of the country for 2026–2030 was adopted as the final stage of the National Development Strategy up to 2030. Its timely and high-quality implementation will make it possible to double the gross domestic product over the next five years, reduce the poverty rate to 10 percent, and increase the share of the middle class to 50 percent.
The President of the country emphasized that improving the standard and quality of living of the population is the highest goal of the state and the Government, and that all necessary measures will continue to be taken in this direction.
Every citizen and every family, with a sense of responsibility for nation-building and state-building, should first and foremost repair, renovate, and keep clean and orderly their homes, streets, and residential areas.
The President of the country declared the year 2026 as the “Year of Expansion of Improvement and Construction Activities and Strengthening National Self-Awareness and Identity.”
Issues related to the lives of children and adolescents, women, security and stability, prevention of terrorism and alien ideologies, as well as other pressing matters outlined in the latest Address of the esteemed Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, to the Majlisi Oli were explained and clarified.
At the conclusion of the meeting, constituents, expressing gratitude for the wise policies of the state leadership and the Government, submitted their requests and proposals to the Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Faizali Idizoda, and received detailed responses.
