Today, under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Faizali Idizoda, the next sitting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan of the seventh convocation was held.
At the beginning of the session, the Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Faizali Idizoda, solemnly noted with sorrow that an official document confirming the passing of Parliament Deputy and Chairman of the Committee on Science, Education, Culture, and Youth Policy, Shodiyon Muhammad Sultonzoda, had been submitted to the Office of the Majlisi Namoyandagon. In accordance with the procedures established by the Guidelines of the Majlisi Namoyandagon, it has been taken under consideration. The following issues “On the early termination of the powers of Parliament Deputy Shodiyon Muhammad Sultonzoda,” “On removing Shodiyon Muhammad Sultonzoda from membership in the Committee on Science, Education, Culture, and Youth Policy,” “On relieving Shodiyon Muhammad Sultonzoda from the position of Chairman of the Committee on Science, Education, Culture, and Youth Policy,” and “On removing Shodiyon Muhammad Sultonzoda from membership in the Council of the Majlisi Namoyandagon” – are interconnected. The draft resolutions are also in your hands. I propose that issues 1 through 4 be voted on together. Relevant decisions on these matters were adopted.
Additionally, the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Combating Corruption” and the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On amendments and additions to the Tax Code of the Republic of Tajikistan” were also reviewed and appropriate decisions on the discussed matters were adopted.
The issues on the agenda were presented to the deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon by Idriszoda Ilyos, Director of the Civil Service Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Khairullozoda Shamsullo, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, Khairiddinzoda Azizbek, member of the Committee on Law and Order, Defense and Security, and Hakimzoda Homidjon, member of the Committee on Economy and Finance.
