As previously reported, from October 8 to 10 of this year, regular sessions of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Member States and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) were held in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation.
Members of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan also took part in the sessions and delivered speeches. In particular, the Chairman of the Committee on Economy and Finance of the Majlisi Namoyandagon, Mr. Giyosiddin Ashurzoda, shared insightful perspectives on “Strategic Planning,” the Model Law on Standardization, and the Model Law on Licensing.
The sessions also addressed key issues such as strengthening intergovernmental cooperation, expanding the legal framework, and ensuring regional security.
Furthermore, an exchange of views was held regarding the future development of inter-parliamentary cooperation.
