Inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries have reached a new and stronger level following a telephone conversation between their heads of state. Considering the important role of inter-parliamentary "Friendship Groups" in strengthening ties between Tajikistan and Korea, Gulzoda Mahmadshoh stated that holding this online meeting this year is timely.
The Republic of Korea maintains strong and multifaceted relations with the countries of Central Asia on a bilateral basis, as well as within the framework of the “Central Asia + Republic of Korea” Cooperation Forum and the Assembly of the Heads of Parliaments of Central Asia and Korea.
These relations develop and expand year by year, contributing to strengthening cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, including roads and transport, digital technologies, trade and commerce, culture and spirituality, as well as inter-parliamentary cooperation.
