Today, a parliamentary delegation of the Majlisi Namoyandagon, headed by the Speaker of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Faizali Idizoda, departed to participate in the off-site meeting of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), which will be held in Bishkek, the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Speaker of the Majlisi Namoyandagon is accompanied on this trip by the Chairman of the Committee on Legal Order, Defense and Security of the Majlisi Namoyandagon, N. Mahmudzoda, and the Deputy Chairman of this Committee, B. Saidvalizoda.
The off-site meeting of the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly in Bishkek will begin with a wreath-laying ceremony at the "Eternal Flame" at the Victory Monument, followed by a group photo of the heads of parliamentary delegations from the CSTO member states.
It should be noted that the heads of parliaments from the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and the Republic of Belarus are participating in this meeting.
The agenda includes discussions on ways to strengthen relations and expand inter-parliamentary cooperation.
