Congratulatory Message of Bahodur Sheralizoda, Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, on the Occasion of the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan
Dear colleagues, environmental protection workers, industry veterans, and friends of nature!
I sincerely congratulate you on the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and wish each of you good health, prosperity, happiness, family well-being, and new successes in your constructive activities.
Thanks to the wise and far-sighted policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, the foundations of national statehood have been strengthened throughout the years of independence, while peace, stability and national unity have been firmly established as the greatest achievements of our people.
The continuous efforts and constructive initiatives of the Leader of the Nation in the areas of sustainable development, protection of natural resources, environmental security and adaptation to climate change have presented Tajikistan to the international community as an active and proactive country.
It was precisely through the initiatives of the Leader of the Nation that issues related to water, climate, glacier preservation, combating climate change and environmental protection became important areas of state policy. Tajikistan’s global initiatives in these fields have received broad support from the international community. The proclamation of international years dedicated to water-related issues, the adoption of international initiatives and the continued attention to glacier preservation are among Tajikistan’s important contributions to addressing global environmental challenges.
State independence has created favorable conditions for the people of Tajikistan to choose an independent path of development and consistently implement constructive measures aimed at the development of the Motherland and ensuring a decent standard of living for the population.
In this process, the environmental protection sector has also developed comprehensively as one of the important areas of state policy, with consistent measures being implemented to protect nature and ensure the rational use of natural resources.
Environmental protection is not the responsibility of one institution alone; it is a shared responsibility of every citizen. The majestic mountains, clear rivers, forests and pastures, flora and fauna, and other natural treasures of Tajikistan are our national heritage and invaluable wealth of present and future generations.
In this regard, the contribution of environmental protection workers, specialists, scientists, environmental activists, nature enthusiasts, and all natural resource users who demonstrate a responsible approach to the use of natural resources is worthy and significant.
Today, each of us, with a strong sense of civic responsibility, is obliged to make a meaningful contribution to maintaining the cleanliness and improvement of the environment, preserving biodiversity, preventing environmental pollution, and ensuring the rational use of natural resources.
I am confident that environmental sector employees and all friends of nature will continue, with a strong sense of patriotism and professional responsibility, to make even greater efforts to protect the environment and implement the state environmental policy.
Once again, I sincerely congratulate all environmental protection workers, nature enthusiasts, natural resource users and the proud people of Tajikistan on the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
I wish our beloved Tajikistan lasting peace and stability, national unity, continued development and prosperity, and every household in our country prosperity, abundance, good health and happiness.
Happy 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear compatriots!
