Today, September 11, 2026, at 6:00 PM Dushanbe time, at the initiative of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in cooperation with the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe and the local company “Paykar,” a campaign entitled “Using Eco-Friendly Bags - A Step Toward Green Development” will be launched at the “Paykar” store located at 66 Rudaki Avenue, Dushanbe.
The campaign is aimed at implementing the Green Economy Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023 - 2037 and raising public environmental awareness.
As part of the campaign, reusable eco-friendly bags will be distributed free of charge to customers.
We believe that cooperation between the Committee for Environmental Protection, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe, and the local company “Paykar” will make a significant contribution to the sustainable development of the country and the implementation of the Green Economy Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023 - 2037.
