From 29 July to 1 August, due to rising air temperatures, there is a forecast of possible glacier-induced mudflows in the foothill and mountainous districts under republican jurisdiction, the Sughd Region and the western districts of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO).
In addition, as air temperatures continue to rise, water levels are expected to increase in the Panj, Zeravshan, and Vakhsh river basins.
