Based on the approved work plan, during joint control operations conducted by the staff of the Environmental Protection Department of Bobojon Gafurov District and the Environmental Militia and Tourism Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Khistevarz rural jamoat, left side of the shore of the Tajik Sea within the territory of Bobojon Gafurov District, a case of illegal fishing was detected.
As a result, an inspection report was drawn up against the violator, and 57 fish were confiscated.
It should be noted that in order to protect and preserve the fish resources of the region’s reservoirs, create favorable conditions for the natural reproduction of fish, and prevent violations, fishing in all rivers and reservoirs within the territory of Sughd Province has been prohibited from March 15 to June 1, 2026.
