On February 12, a greening campaign was held in Dangara District with the participation of the Chairman of Khatlon Region, Davlatali Said, and the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Bahodur Sheralizoda.
More than 4,000 evergreen and shade-providing saplings were planted along the Dangara - Dushanbe highway. Responsible authorities have been assigned to oversee the care and maintenance of the planted trees.
As part of the State Greening Program in Khatlon Region for 2026, it is planned to plant 600,000 trees and more than 9 million flowers and shrubs.
