In order to implement the work plan and the protocol instructions of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Main Directorate for Environmental Protection in Sughd Region sent an urgent telegram to subordinate structures in cities and districts regarding the organization of meetings in educational institutions, as well as in other local institutions and organizations, devoted to studying, explaining, and promoting the key points of the latest Address of the Leader of the Nation — the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, delivered at the session of the Supreme Assembly of the country on December 16, 2025, with the involvement of representatives of the Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, teachers, educators, and experts.
In cooperation with the city education department, the staff of the environmental protection department in the city of Guliston organized and held a meeting with students of Secondary School No. 1. During the meeting, participants were briefed on the main points of the latest Address of the Leader of the Nation, Tajikistan’s initiatives, the adoption of the United Nations General Assembly resolution “On the Protection of Glaciers and the Cryosphere, Especially in Mountainous Regions,” and other issues related to enhancing civic responsibility.
