In order to attract young scientists to the field of agricultural science and to duly celebrate Youth Day, which is annually observed in the country on May 23, a scientific and practical conference entitled “Achievements of Young Scientists in the Development of Agricultural Science” was held today in the hall of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan. The event was dedicated to the implementation of the “Twenty Years of Study and Development of Natural, Exact, and Mathematical Sciences in the Field of Science and Education.” Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Committee for Youth and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Tajik Agrarian University named after Shirinsho Shotemur, as well as scientists and employees of institutions subordinate to the Academy, participated in the conference.
It was noted that young people represent one of the most important segments of society, and to date, the contribution of young scientists from the research institutions of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan to various fields of agricultural science has been significant. It was emphasized that they should continue to play an active role as the driving force of this scientific and educational institution by achieving even greater accomplishments in the future.
The conference consisted of two sections. The second part was held in the institute’s hall, where young researchers, master’s students, applicants, and doctoral students delivered presentations on the scientific work they have completed to date.
At the conclusion of the event, during the discussion and question-and-answer session, the leadership and experienced members of the scientific community provided participants with valuable recommendations and practical advice for carrying out their future tasks more effectively and successfully.
