With the support of the leadership of the Main Department of Geology under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, training sessions on Micromine were organized.
From July 6 to 10, 2026, training sessions on the “Micromine” software were held in the hall of the State Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan on Mineral Reserves to enhance the knowledge and skills of the Commission’s experts in using modern software.
The training sessions were conducted by Stanislav Sovin, a representative of Micromine in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The modern development of the mining and extractive industry is impossible without the application of modern technologies. These technologies play an important role at all stages of the exploration and development of mineral deposits. In particular, the use of software for calculating mineral reserves is of great importance, as the accuracy of these calculations directly affects economic efficiency.
The process of calculating mineral reserves using modern software consists of several stages:
collection and processing of primary data;
georeferencing of mine workings with the inclusion of all relevant data;
construction of the deposit framework and model;
performing mathematical calculations of mineral reserves using various methods.
The software also makes it possible to calculate the geostatistical variability of a deposit. This is particularly important under complex geological conditions, as the characteristics of rocks may change over short distances. The use of geostatistical methods increases the reliability of calculations and reduces risks in decision-making.
Modern software makes it possible to present data in the form of maps, cross-sections, and three-dimensional models. This contributes to a better understanding of the data and effective cooperation among specialists.
In brief, modern technologies are an important tool for calculating mineral reserves. Their use increases the accuracy and efficiency of geological studies and contributes to the rational use of natural resources.
