On 24 August this year, a meeting of Deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan with constituents, community activists, and representatives of organizations and institutions of the district was held at Secondary School No. 4 in Shohmansur District of Dushanbe.
The meeting was attended and addressed by Orif Amirzoda, Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan representing the Shohmansur No. 3 single-mandate electoral district, and Niyozи Nurali, Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon.
Orif Amirzoda presented information on the achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan during the years of state independence, the development of the national economy, construction and development projects, as well as other important areas of the country’s development.
It was noted that during the years of independence, hundreds of kilometers of international, republican, and local roads have been repaired and reconstructed throughout the country. Hundreds of schools, hospitals, cultural centers, sports halls, enterprises, hotels, and other important modern facilities have been constructed. This work aimed at development, construction, and improvement of public infrastructure continues with great enthusiasm.
During this period, Tajikistan has also attracted significant attention from the international community. On 12 December 2025, at the initiative of Tajikistan, the 7th session of the United Nations Environment Assembly adopted a resolution entitled “On the Protection of Glaciers and the Cryosphere, Particularly in Mountainous Regions.”
Niyozи Nurali addressed issues related to the development of the construction and energy sectors, including the construction of hydraulic engineering facilities, highlighting the key role of these sectors in ensuring the country’s sustainable development.
During the meeting, participants expressed their views and proposals on social, economic, and other pressing issues. The deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon provided comprehensive answers to the questions raised by the participants.
