Mirshakar Jalolzoda, Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, held a meeting with activists and residents of the Sirdaryo settlement jamoat in the city of Guliston.
Mirshakar Jalolzoda noted that a vital component of a deputy's work is representative activity. This great responsibility compels us to maintain close ties with the people, listen to every citizen's petition and proposal, apply all our efforts and experience to resolve the country's problems, and share in the joys and concerns of the voters.
At the initiative of the deputies, voters' requests were analyzed and discussed at the meeting of the Council of the Majlisi Namoyandagon, and the most critical ones were sent to the Government of the country for action.
State independence is the greatest achievement of the Tajik nation. Over 35 years of independence, hundreds of kilometers of international, national, and local highways have been repaired and reconstructed across our country. Hundreds of schools, hospitals, cultural palaces, sports halls, enterprises, hotels, and other important modern facilities have been built, and this creative and developmental effort continues with great enthusiasm.
For over 35 years of independence, under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, youth have been placed at the center of state policy as the main driving force of society, and profound, consistent reforms have been implemented in this direction.
During the independence era, state youth policy has evolved into one of the priority areas of the state's social policy.
To establish the legal framework for the sector, the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Youth and State Youth Policy," along with various national strategies, concepts, and programs, were adopted, and mechanisms for supporting youth were refined.
Today, youth account for more than half of the country's population and, serving as the core resource for societal development, actively work across all socio-economic sectors.
The meeting concluded with participants presenting their questions to the Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon and receiving specific, detailed answers.
