On August 24, 2026, a meeting was held between Karimzoda Farhod, a deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, and voters in the village of Qurgoncha, Jabbor Rasulov district.
Important socio-economic issues, daily concerns of residents, and proposals from voters were discussed during the meeting.
It was emphasized that state independence and sovereignty, achieved after centuries of dedication, hard work, and the persistent efforts of our freedom-loving people, represent an invaluable and supreme blessing that made the Tajik people the full master of their destiny, allowing our society to enter the general historical process of mankind as a democratic state. Time has brought us to the grandiose celebration of the 35th anniversary of state independence, which is the greatest achievement of the Tajik nation. State independence has helped ensure the country's steady development, improve public well-being, and achieve major results in political, socio-economic, cultural, and legal spheres.
The implementation and realization of the four strategic goals during the period of independence, notably ensuring food security and public access to quality food, overcoming the communication deadlock and transforming into a transit country, ensuring energy security and the efficient use of electricity, as well as securing the accelerated industrialization of the country and expanding productive employment have enabled the socio-economic situation in the country to develop and given a serious impetus to the level of public well-being.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the residents expressed their views and requests, receiving specific answers to their questions.
