A meeting between Mahmadshoh Gulzoda, Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, and constituents was held at Secondary School No. 51 in the village of Talkhob, Safobakhsh rural jamoat, Danghara District.
The meeting addressed a range of issues related to the dignified celebration of the major national holiday – the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan – as well as the achievements attained during the period of independence, the strengthening of peace and national unity, the development of various sectors of public life, and other matters of national importance.
In the course of the meeting, it was emphasized that state independence has created broad opportunities for the people of Tajikistan to pursue sustainable national development, promote the socio-economic advancement of the regions, and improve the living standards of the population.
It was noted that the implementation of the four strategic national objectives during the years of independence, notably ensuring food security and access to adequate and high-quality nutrition; overcoming the country’s communication deadlock and transforming Tajikistan into a transit country; ensuring energy security and the efficient use of electricity; and achieving accelerated industrialization and expanding productive employment, has contributed significantly to the socio-economic development of the country and provided strong impetus to improving the well-being of the population.
Participants also exchanged views on important social and pressing issues affecting the lives of the population and put forward a number of proposals.
In conclusion, it was emphasized that every citizen of the country has a responsibility to make a meaningful contribution to development and community improvement efforts, as well as to preparations for the dignified celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
