The event was attended by Safarzoda Davlat, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Sobirzoda Isfandiyor, Rector of the Advanced Training Institute of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Opening the meeting, Mavsuma Muini noted that this regular event is being held in accordance with the "Action Plan of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Implemented in Cooperation with Ministries and Departments."
Two important issues were submitted to the agenda: "The Significance of the Establishment of the Qonun - Center of Aryan Civilization and the International Navruz Center in the City of Dushanbe," and "The UNESCO Resolution of November 6, 2025, Entitled 'Cyrus Cylinder: The First Declaration of Human Rights and Cultural Diversity.'"
In the regular Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, the Esteemed Emomali Rahmon, dated December 16, 2025, strengthening national self-awareness, preserving historical heritage, and reviving the civilizational values of ancestors were highlighted as crucial directions of state policy.
The Leader of the Nation has repeatedly emphasized: "A nation that does not know its history has no future."
It is precisely in this context that the initiative to establish the Qonun - Center of Aryan Civilization and the International Navruz Center in the city of Dushanbe is viewed as a historic step of strategic importance.
The creation of the Qonun - Center of Aryan Civilization and the International Navruz Center in the country's capital is of special significance for presenting the historical and cultural values of the Tajik people, studying and preserving the heritage of Aryan civilization, and worthily showcasing the international holiday of Navruz. At the same time, this initiative can create favorable conditions for strengthening cultural ties, presenting the material and spiritual heritage of the Tajik people, and expanding international cooperation in the field of culture.
Furthermore, on November 6, 2025, during the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, a resolution titled "Cyrus Cylinder: The First Declaration of Human Rights and Cultural Diversity" was adopted. This resolution was submitted on the initiative of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran and received the support of the organization's member states.
Safarzoda Davlat and Sobirzoda Isfandiyor delivered speeches on the topics under consideration.
