Today, Faizali Idizoda, Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, received the participants of the 11th "Children of the Commonwealth" International Cultural and Educational Forum.
Mr. Idizoda welcomed the delegates to the newly inaugurated Parliament building of the Republic of Tajikistan, highlighting it as a premier symbol of the country’s modern statehood, independence, peace, national unity, and constructive development.
"It is a great honor to welcome the participants of the 'Children of the Commonwealth' Forum to the ancient and hospitable land of Tajikistan," the Chairman stated. "Tajikistan places a high priority on supporting children and youth. Under the wise leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, our country actively implements a consistent state policy dedicated to providing favorable conditions for the education, upbringing, holistic development, and self-realization of the younger generation."
Addressing the delegation, he added: "Today, you stand in the new Parliament building of the Republic of Tajikistan. Your visit holds profound significance, as it is precisely the youth who represent the creative force that will shape the future development of nations and the destiny of humanity."
The Chairman noted that the "Children of the Commonwealth" Forum has long been recognized as one of the most vital humanitarian initiatives within the CIS. Over the years, the platform has united hundreds of talented, driven young people who, despite their diverse languages, traditions, and cultures, have found common ground and forged lasting bonds of friendship.
"The true value of this forum lies in its ability to foster mutual understanding, respect for cultural diversity, and a deep appreciation for the history and traditions of the CIS nations among the youth," Mr. Idizoda remarked.
The forum aims to promote intercultural dialogue and strengthen friendly ties among the Commonwealth’s youth. To this end, more than one hundred delegates from across the CIS region have traveled to Tajikistan to participate in this year's event.
