As previously reported, the Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Faizali Idizoda, made a working visit to the city of St. Petersburg, Russian Federation. The visit was at the invitation of Valentina Matvienko, Chairperson of the Council of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS).
During his visit, Mr. Idizoda participated in the meetings of the IPA CIS Council, as well as the IPA CIS Permanent Commissions on Defense and Security Issues, and on Political Issues and International Cooperation.
Within the framework of the visit, Faizali Idizoda also met with representatives of the diaspora and Tajik students who work and study in St. Petersburg.
Faizali Idizoda informed the participants about the country's economic and social development over its 35 years of independence, highlighting the achievements of the nation's workforce under the wise leadership of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon. Furthermore, he urged them to love their Motherland and raise the prestige of their nation and state.
