Today, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Giyozoda Aziz, and in accordance with the Action Plan of the Majlisi Namoyandagon, a meeting was held on the implementation of two important documents in the field of legal policy: the implementation process of the Concept of Legal Policy of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2018–2028 and the Program of Legal Education and Literacy of the Citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2020–2030.
Giyozoda Aziz emphasized that the sustainable political, economic, social, and cultural development of society is deeply dependent on the effectiveness of legal policy, its stability, and its actual implementation.
The protection of human and civil rights and freedoms, the strengthening of legality and legal order, the prevention of transnational crime, ensuring sustainable economic development, and achieving the strategic goals of the state, namely, ensuring energy independence, food security, breaking the communications deadlock, and the rapid industrialization of the country—are impossible without ensuring the supremacy of law and legal order.
This process has emerged directly as a result of the stability of legal policy, as well as its effective assurance and implementation, carried out within the framework of the constructive policy of the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.
On the basis of the Concept of Legal Policy of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2018–2028, dated February 6, 2018, the legal policy of the Republic of Tajikistan is implemented through political, economic, organizational, ideological, and legal measures aimed at the effective regulation and further development of social relations. The main features of the legal policy of the Republic of Tajikistan consist of strategies, concepts, state programs, normative legal acts, and acts of legal application, which clearly demonstrate the integration of this Concept with other strategic planning documents, regulatory practice, and legal implementation.
Saidzoda Izatullo, Director of the National Legislative Center under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Safaralizoda Zafar, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan, participated in the event and delivered speeches.
At the end of the meeting, the deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon and the attendees received precise answers to their questions and requests.
