Tajikistan-Pakistan relations, which have evolved from standard cooperation to a strategic partnership over the last 34 years through the initiatives of both nations' high-level leadership, represent a significant achievement
Tajikistan-Pakistan relations stem from the spiritual and historical ties between two friendly peoples, as well as the brotherly relationship between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon and the Honorable Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
As a result of successful bilateral relations, 96 cooperation documents have been signed. The volume of annual trade between our countries has also increased, reaching $53 million in September 2025 alone.

We emphasize that dialogue, the exchange of official visits by friendship groups, and inter-parliamentary cooperation are of great importance to us, and we will continue our joint efforts to achieve further progress," stated Faizali Idizoda.
The current state of relations between Tajikistan and Pakistan demonstrates that, despite ongoing growth, mutually beneficial cooperation is in a constant phase of identifying shared interests. There remain vast, untapped opportunities to further advance and solidify bilateral ties in the fields of economy, trade, and various social sectors.
