A meeting was held between Mavsuma Muini, Deputy Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, and her accompanying delegation, and Ms. Isabelle Rome, the French Ambassador for Human Rights and official responsible for the international dimension of the Holocaust.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between Tajikistan and France regarding human rights protection, with special attention to the fight against discrimination and strengthening the role of women in society. Special importance was attached to the exchange of experience in promoting human rights policy, improving the legal framework, and supporting international initiatives aimed at protecting fundamental human freedoms and values.
Mavsuma Muini emphasized Tajikistan's efforts to strengthen institutional mechanisms for the protection of human rights, as well as initiatives to strengthen tolerance, intercultural dialogue, and the development of the education sector.
The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation within the framework of international organizations and multilateral platforms, emphasizing the importance of promoting universal human values.
