As we previously reported, within the framework of the international initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, in the direction of water and climate, ecology, and glacier preservation, the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, together with the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, announced a republican competition on the topic of "Glacier Preservation — An Important Factor for Ensuring a Bright Future for Humanity."
At the Commission meeting held today, the materials submitted to the Competition to date were presented to the jury for study and evaluation according to the nominations.
The Chairman of the Ecological Commission of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Orif Amirzoda, emphasized that there are no restrictions for the applicants of the Competition in terms of profession or age. Representatives of various professions, scientists and specialists, researchers and scholars, experts and journalists, students of general secondary, vocational, and higher professional education institutions, creative groups, and legal entities can participate in the Competition.
Applicants may submit documents and become participants in the Competition by presenting only one material according to the nominations of the Competition.
